There are a few websites we visit regularly for information, relaxation or shopping. These are our recommendations:

WRUFFIAN – Billy Ruffian’s LOOT. As he admits himself, much of the site is a load of old tutt. Yet, amongst the sad, the splendid and the weird are some excellent timepieces and some useful pieces of photographic kit. If you fly a drone then there may well be things there for you too,

GREY ARROWS DRONE CLUB We are all members.A club for all UK-based pilots, whether FRV or photo specialists. Very friendly, very helpful. It’s a grown-ups club for serious people who nevertheless have a fun approach to flying. There are regular and ongoing competitions, the occasional national or local meetings and a wealth of experience freely shared amongst the members.

DRONE SCENE is an interactive map, updated in real-time, that shows layers denoting flight restriction zones, hazards, NOTAMS and other features that prevent flying. More importantly, it shows where you can fly. Each site on the map has been flown by a Grey Arrows member who has supplied additional information regarding access, parking and where, if required, to obtain permissions.
